UK ADVA FLOW 5110

Description:
UK ADVA FLOW 5110 is a third generation admix ture for concrete and mortar.

Uses:
UK ADVA FLOW 5110 is a high range water reducer that provides long workability times, so it is used for the following applications:
■Ready mix concrete production
■High performance concrete production
■ Impermeable and dense concrete with smooth surface
■Production of complex and fine elements such as floor slabs, foundations, walls, beams and columns even through congested reinforcement
■Self Compacting Concrete (SCC) production


Characteristics / Advantages :

UK ADVA FLOW 5110 is a dual impact admixture and when it is used, the surface adsorption in the achievement of the following properties.
■ Extremely high water reduction, resulting in high density and high strength
■flowability, placing and compacting behavior.
■Chloride-free, thus harmless to the reinforcing steels,
■ Reduced rate of carbonation of the concrete
■ Reduced tendency of shrinkage
■ No need for vibration, thus no noise pollution

Storage Conditions / Shelf Life ------ 12 months from date of production if stored properly in original and unopened packaging, in dry conditions at temperatures between +5°C and +35°C. Protect from excessive temperature, direct sunlight and frost.

Density ------ 1,05– 1,1 kg/l at 20°C

pH Value ------ 3 – 5

Freezing Point ------ -6°C

Consumption / Dosage :
Depending on the expected concrete performance, it is used at a rate of:
■ For plastic concrete: 0.2 to 0.75% by weight of binder
■ For self-compacting concrete: 0.75 to 1.5% by weight of binder When adjusting the consistency, high water retarding feature of the additive must be taken into account and excessive water addition to the mixture must be prevented.

Application Method / Tools:
UK ADVA FLOW 5110 must be added to the gauging water at the plant. Adding into the concrete mixer in situ is not recommended.

Notes on Application / Limitations:
When using UK ADVA FLOW 5110 , a suitable mix design has been taken into account and local material sources should be trialled.
UK ADVA FLOW 5110 should not be added to dry cement and should be added with the mixing water. When using UK ADVA FLOW 5110 for the production of self compacting concrete, suitable mix design must be taken into account.
Before application, suitability tests must be performed.
